Just Flattering Enough!

Some silhouettes are more flattering than others, and this is one combination that I feel fits the just flattering enough category.  My primary goal is to like what I see in the mirror.

The length of the skirt and the oversizedness of the top potentially creates a shapeless blob, but the the slim line of the skirt and the pointed toe flats add some structure to the outfit creating (to me) an attractive silhouette.
Both garments are very fluid and possibly look better in movement than in still photography.

The red clutch and the D'orsay flats are not my usual go to accessories for this look but the flats have a slight edge mixed with a lady like vibe and the clutch, being perhaps a little modern classic, was simply a fun addition for a change and were suitable for the days activities.

What are you priorities when dressing. Is figure flattery always at the forefront? Are you comfortable wearing less conventional silhouettes?
