I am lucky enough to have a few professional interests and involvements so life is never boring. On some days I work as a stylist, others I tend to my 'day job' in the community sector and most recently I have been working to develop and start up a free community meal in my town. Hence my excuse for being missing in action for a couple of weeks. The meal is now up and running and is attracting a large number of guests, and meeting some needs of people in our community who are experiencing disadvantage. It's an exciting thing to be involved in and I hope you don't mind me sharing.

As the weather warms up I look forward to more time to blog along with the opportunity to share with you some new pieces I have acquired in the lead up to summer. Spoiler alert.... I have gone a little dress crazy!

Found my way here via Patti's Visible Monday. I have fallen in love with your elk vest and would like to subscribe to your newsletter. :D
ReplyDeleteAya, lovely to meet you and I look forward to reading your blog.
DeleteWonderful for you starting up a community meal! I wish you all the best with that project going forward. Love your styling, too, and these simple but elegant black outfits. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful to start a community meal! I'm so impressed because this is the important work, helping others. You look great in the draping and the maxi length. You are always elegant and stylish which I appreciate so much!

Good for you taking on the community meal. One began small in San Antonio years ago and now it is huge and so great for our city. Hundreds of people volunteer to help. I love your looks...that Target blouse is gorgeous. I know you will be exhausted, but it will be well worth it!
ReplyDeleteYay, you're back. So great to hear about making a difference in your community. I am completely in love with that first outfit - so elegant and unusual! The blouse is just perfect and the vest is spectacular.
ReplyDeleteLovely outfits with all those drapes (and black, of course!). Looking forward to seeing your new acquisitions!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous outfits, I love them all. The first is magnificent, the blouse has a spectacular second and third dress is lovely. That shame not to see you whole, with the dress.
ReplyDeleteJosep-Maria, thank you. I promise a full post on the dress is coming.
DeleteNope. You're a good blogger. Just a busy woman. And we forgive. All outfits lovely here, but I'm so loving that blouse up top with the great long, sleeveless vest! Gorgeous on you! I can't find a decent sleeveless vest for love or money here!
