I actually wore the same outfit for my celebration lunch in Melbourne and then again in Bendigo! I liked it so much!!
lexi tunic - metalicus mixed media leggings - zara ankle boots - hushpuppies earrings - michael hill (gift from my Master 12) |
And after about 18 months of back and forth with my lovely hair stylist, on a whim last week, I took the plunge and went for a 'proper' pixie cut. And I am thrilled with the result and found myself asking why I hadn't just done it in the first place?!? Do you ever do that?
For my two lunch celebrations I wanted comfort and style. You have seen these Zara Mixed Media leggings before but the tunic is a new addition. Another beautiful garment from Australian brand Metalicus. I bought it especially for the occasion and bought it without trying it on and as expected, it was perfect. It's a simple jersey tunic, with a lovely detail on the back by way of a tie on the upper back that can be adjusted to create more or less of a cocoon shape.
My birthday gifts were all fashion related so I will have some lovely new goodies to share in coming weeks. I also shopped the Metalicus sale... need I say more!
Have a lovely week.

It almost looks like all one piece. I love the back detail on the tunic top and the way the boots just blend in to everything. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Joni. The tunic is so lovely, I could easily reach for it every day:)
DeleteYour hair looks fabulous, and I love the tunic!
ReplyDeleteThank you une femme. I was actually growing my hair back into a short bob but now that I have been short I don't think I can go back to longer hair:)
DeleteYou look smashing! Love the haircut and the outfit.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa. Your shorter do is looking great, are you enjoying that length?
DeleteThe pixie really suits you - love the textural layers around your face. The outfit looks wonderful and very "you".
