Today's outfit features a gorgeous little blue shift dress with a white stitched trim. I am not 100% sure but I think my mum may have made this dress for me. As you can see simple, monochromatic looks have always been popular in my wardrobe;) Clearly my love of layering came a little later!
1965 was an eventful year! Not only was I born, but on the fashion front we saw The Birth of the Mini Skirt !
Enjoy the rest of our week and you can follow me on Instagram where, if I remember, I will post some celebration photos over the weekend.

A big congratulations dear Deborah. Your 50s are beautiful, elegant and very attractive. Your proposals are wonderful and I am sure that this new part of your life will be filled with happiness. Photo when you were small is cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Josep-Maria. That is one of only few photos I have from when I was little.
DeleteMany happy returns, Deborah. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and are thoroughly spoilt by all the people who love you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon. I have had a wonderful time with friends and family. Feeling absolutely blessed and much loved.
DeleteHappy 50th! I took that plunge in March and so far, it's not bad. ;) 1965 is a great year to be born!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Stephanie! I thought we shared the same birth year. Belated best wishes to you. To me it's just a number but I do think that there is a confidence and a knowing of oneself that definitely comes with age:)
DeleteThanks, and I completely agree! xo
DeleteHappy belated birthday! I'm just 5 years ahead of you. The 60's was a fantastic era to grow up in. Hope you had a wonderful time!
