50!

Today I am 50!  I have mixed feelings about turning 50, but for the most part I am excited and thankful.  I have some wonderful celebrations planned with friends and family this weekend and I will be back with some outfit photos and quite possibly some musings about turning 50.

Today's outfit features a gorgeous little blue shift dress with a white stitched trim.  I am not 100% sure but I think my mum may have made this dress for me.  As you can see simple, monochromatic looks have always been popular in my wardrobe;)  Clearly my love of layering came a little later!

1965 was an eventful year!  Not only was I born, but on the fashion front we saw The Birth of the Mini Skirt !

Enjoy the rest of our week and you can follow me on Instagram where, if I remember, I will post some celebration photos over the weekend.

    1. Thanks so much Stephanie! I thought we shared the same birth year. Belated best wishes to you. To me it's just a number but I do think that there is a confidence and a knowing of oneself that definitely comes with age:)
