Grey Day

Grey is a colour I have been exploring and experimenting with a little lately.  It works beautifully with black and other neutrals, and has that effortless ease about it.
marlini drape top : metalicus
skirt : kondo tricot
shoes : rubi
sterling silver bee pendant :  jenna clifford,



I prefer to wear the darker greys lower on my body and the softer, lighter tones closer to my face as they appear more flattering against my skin tone and eyes.   I was surprised at just how much grey was in my closet when I pulled it all out onto one rack.  While black has my heart, grey is certainly it's friend and I anticipate a little more grey making it way into my daily outfits.

What about you?  Any surprise colours or tones in your closet?  Have you been experimenting with anything new lately... colour, silhouette, etc?

    I just love grey - probably as much as I love black. I really love this outfit you're wearing - and the "bee" just adds a little bit of surprise - FABULOUS outfit :-)

      Thanks Petra. I am really looking forward to a little more grey in my winter wardrobe. I am particularly liking the idea of tonal grey outfits.

    Your skirt is gorgeous! You know I love grey every now and then.
    No surprise colors in my closet but for sleeping, I do wear pajamas in crazy patterns.
    You commented on my blog that I don't seem to feature much outerwear. That's right, and it's because I don't own much - not even a coat! Must fix that!
